New Country Pride Camp
For Campers Ages 5 – 13 | June 28 to July 15
For Campers Ages 5 – 13
Tuesday, June 28 – Friday, July 15
A specialty program of New Country Day Camp (NCDC), New Country Pride Camp (NCPC) is a welcoming, open-tent community of LGBTQ+ young people and staff that celebrates and sustains joyful, outdoor summer experiences where all can thrive.
After a successful summer 2021 one-week pilot, NCPC is growing to a three-week program, giving campers more opportunity to build friendships and engage in program-long creative projects. In addition to daily swimming lessons and free swim, Pride campers will attend two daily programs led by NCDC’s teachers in activities including Build, Movement, News & Film, Theater, Art & Design, LABA, Wilderness & Garden, Music, Cooking, Team Sports, and more!
We plan a special daily activity just for Pride campers, which includes discussions, preparation for our special Pride Shabbat, and activities led by guest teachers—community leaders, activists, artists, parents, and others from NYC’s LGBTQ+ community. Bringing successful and passionate LGBTQ+ folks into the camper experience will broaden their view of the incredible diversity of the community and the many ways in which an LGBTQ+ identity can be expressed in society, work, and family.
Join Us for Summer 2022
Just like NCDC, campers will play and learn in our rich array of programs, from sports, music and art to wilderness, science and imagination. Pride campers receive swimming instruction daily, eat a yummy catered lunch in a spacious, open-air shelter, and explore 75 beautiful acres of hiking trails, swimming pools, open meadows and ponds. Campers participating in NCPC have access to all NCDC transportation options.
Registration for NCPC will be available until Monday, June 13, based on bus route availability.

We are offering sliding scale pricing again. Learn more here.
This Sliding Scale pricing model allows you to select your New Country Pride Camp tuition rate based on your family’s net income and financial circumstances.
We invite you to choose any of the prices and payment plans offered, no questions asked. However, we do ask that you consider your net household income before determining your tuition price.
Consider your personal financial experience and your family’s financial means. The standard price for three weeks of New Country Pride Camp’s is $3000, what it costs for us to run the program, pay our staff, transport campers and staff to and from our campgrounds, provide high-quality programs, meals, and snacks, operate our pools/facilities, and more. If you are able to pay more than $3,000, you are helping families with fewer financial means pay for a camp experience that aligns with their financial means and helps us work toward creating a more equitable world.
Any amount you pay above the $3,000 base price for New Country Pride Camp Summer 2022 is tax-deductible (e.g., If you select the $4,200 option, $1,200 of your total tuition is tax-deductible).

Health and Safety
At NCPC, the majority of the day is spent outdoors. We follow all recommended health and safety guidelines from the CDC and American Camp Association to ensure the safest possible environment for your camper.
Each camper must submit an up-to-date medical form filled out by your child’s pediatrician, dated within one year. We do not accept religious exemptions, and all campers must be fully immunized.
We are committed to the health and safety of your children. Camp staff are fully vaccinated, and we require all campers who are eligible for approved COVID-19 vaccines to be fully vaccinated by their first day of camp. Please note that these guidelines may be subject to change.
