Sirovich Classes and Programs Schedule
All classes are accessible, free, and led by professional instructors and teaching artists. Each class offers a great opportunity to learn new skills or revisit old pastimes as well as engage with your community.
For In-Person Programs
We encourage you to wear a well-fitting mask while inside the Sirovich Center.
Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before your activities.
In Person Breakfast
Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Tickets available for purchase 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM in the 1st floor Auditorium. Dining room opens at 8:30 AM. Members have to exit the dining room at 10:30 AM. Thank you for your cooperation.
In Person Lunch
Monday – Friday | 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Tickets available for purchase 11:30 AM – 12:55 PM in the 1st floor in the Auditorium. Dining room opens at 11:30 AM. Members have to exit the dining room at 1:30 PM. Thank you for your cooperation.

Intergenerational Session with 14Y Afterschool Students | 4:15 – 4:45 PM
Join us for an exciting intergenerational tap dance class, offered in partnership with 14Y Afterschool students grades K – 2. Tap dancing is excellent practice to develop musicality, timing, and balance. Instruction is tailored for adults and children who have a passion for dance and rhythm or just want to have fun. Participants will receive guidance on intermediate footwork and technique specifically designed for all tap dance learners. No previous dance experience is necessary to participate.

International Dance Day with The Pacemakers Senior Dance Group
Monday, April 29 | 1:00 – 1:50 PM | Auditorium
No registration needed. All levels of dancers are welcomed.
Experience International Dance Day with an exclusive dance program by the Pacemakers Senior Dance Group. The Pacemakers will teach you groovy dance moves, with the opportunity to perform (if you’re willing!) at the Sirovich Center Birthday Party on Thursday, May 2. Don’t miss the chance to dance on this special day!
Cognition and Swallowing Screenings with NYU Graduate Speech Pathologist Student Clinicians
Friday, April 5 | 9:00 – 10:30 AM | Small Dining Room
Registration is required for the screening. To sign up for an appointment email sirovich@14streety.org. Limited spots are available.
NYU graduate student clinicians will screen your cognition (memory, attention, language, reasoning, etc.) and swallowing skills
You will be a part of supporting graduate students training in the field of speech language pathology
All screenings are accompanied by licensed speech- language pathologists
Prevention, Protection, and Power: Asserting & Advocating For Yourself with Social Worker Sheryl

In this workshop, we will learn or review a few communication skills and strategies that are especially useful when we are feeling emotional, misunderstood, disrespected, or dismissed. Communicating our perspectives will help us become more assertive, enabling us to better advocate for ourselves.

Throw A Wrinkle at Us: An Improv Ensemble with Sucasa Artist Robert

This is a series of inspirational improvisational theatre workshops where members create a live performance, based 100 percent on audience members throwing suggestions at the ensemble and where each ensemble member draws upon their unique past, present, and future. There are no lines or stage blocking to remember, and each performance revels in the richness and diversity of each member’s life.
SU-CASA is a community arts engagement program that places artists and organizations in residence at older adult centers across New York City.
