Celebrate Arts 2022
An Annual Arts Festival Celebrating Older Adults in our Community
In honor of Older Americans Month, EA’s Older Adults Programs is joining The Administration for Community Living (ACL) to support and celebrate the incredible older adults in our community.
To honor the theme of Older Americans Month – Age My Way – and to celebrate and show-off our older community members, we are inviting all of our older adult arts programs to participate in the first annual Celebrate Arts, an annual arts festival across five Educational Alliance older adult sites throughout the month of May.
The month-long festival will feature creative performances and art galleries highlighting the work of our older adults at the Weinberg Center for Balanced Living, Sirovich Center for Balanced Living, the 14th Street Y, Co-Op Village NORC, and Project ORE.
Community members can participate in Celebrate Arts by attending:
-
Art Gallery: All month long in three EA sites as well as virtually
-
Art Performance: Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
-
Art Fair: Friday and Saturday
