Babymoon NYC Celebrates Sukkot!

Come gather in the 14Y sukkah with your HMI friends!

Come join other new and expectant HMI families for mingling, mocktails and snacks under the sukkah. This is a fun casual event organized by new mom Melanie Smith of HMI-NYC Trip 6, co-hosted by the 14th Street Y and HMI in partnership with UJA Federation of NY.

Sukkot is the traditional Jewish Thanksgiving, where historically people camped under a “sukkah” (open air tent) amid their crops. We’ll come together to say a shehecheyanu (the blessing for milestones and gratitude) and celebrate the gathering of our new families.

We will have a mix of expectant and new families from a variety of HMI trips – a new village for your babymoon.

Expectant families: bring your questions!
New parents: bring your babies and your stories.

Discussion will be led by Meredith Fein Lichtenberg, our Community Catalyst and Parenting Educator. For more information please email Meredith at MLichtenberg@14streety.org.
