Susan Genis has been practicing yoga since 1992, and has studied several styles of yoga including Kripalu, Iyengar, and Anusara. She is registered with Yoga Alliance as a 500-hour certified yoga teacher. Her teaching is both playful and precise. Her careful guidance makes her classes suitable for beginners as well as experienced students, and gentle enough to be enjoyed by seniors capable of getting up and down from their floor mat.
She combines clear alignment instruction with compassionate encouragement for students to achieve the best in themselves without judgment, self-criticism, or comparison to others. Her other interests include tandem cycling, choral singing, and social dancing.
