Through practices of sustained attention and guided discussions, we will learn together how to build “sanctuaries of attention” in our lives and communities.

Attention is central to our ability to care for each other, to make sense of our shared reality, and to collectively build the world that we hope to inhabit. To do so, we must reclaim our attention from digital technologies of attention capture and learn how to direct it towards the people, places and things that matter most. This is the aim of the Attention Labs: an experiential, participatory workshop curriculum dedicated to the joint exploration of radical human attention.

The Matthew Strother School of Radical Attention is a non-profit experimental institution of education and collaboration dedicated to cultivating radical attention as a foundation of human well-being — and well-being beyond the human, too.
