Participate in the Block Printing Basics class, have a beer (or two!), and enjoy a fun summer night in the East Village. Take a chance on our Spinner Wheel for a chance to win prizes!

Block Printing Basics
Carve your own rubber stamp

Using basic printmaking techniques and materials, we will work to carve our own rubber stamps for block printing. Carving tools, rubber, ink, paper, and blank postcards will be provided.

About Shannon Rose Jones
Shannon Rose Jones (she/her) is a Brooklyn based artist, designer, and maker. Shannon has a BFA in Woodworking and Printmaking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She worked in theatre, furniture fabrication, and coffee before completing her MFA in Furniture Design at the Rhode Island School of Design in 2022. Please note that this event is rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, activities will be done in the 14Y Lobby. Also, crafting is optional, you can just hang out with friends and family — which is totally free!
