Infant & Toddler Center FAQs

By joining 14Y, you become part of a community that supports you and your family every step of the way and gain access to an incredible range of benefits, including:

  • Free open play eight times each week, Toddler & Me and New Parent Yoga, Baby & Me Pilates, and New Parent Support Group
  • Daily family swim
  • Discounts on all paid classes, including developmental movement and music classes, summer camps, swim classes, and more
  • Plus, membership for the adult/s in the family that includes access to the fitness center and over 30 fitness classes per week, lap swim, designated timeslots for open gym and organized, supervised basketball gameplay.

Joining semester-long classes at 14Y is essential for your child’s growth and your family’s sense of community. In today’s digital age, these real-world connections matter more than ever. Plus, if you miss a class, you can always schedule a make-up—so your child never misses out! We do have the option of a trial class for a higher cost, if you absolutely cannot commit, space permitting.

Our educators are some of the most experienced early childhood professionals in the city. Our infant and toddler class teachers reflect a rich blend of professional backgrounds, including a social worker, seasoned early childhood educators, fitness instructors, doulas, speech educators, and teaching artists. We are dedicated to guiding families and supporting children from birth through toddlerhood.

Fire safety requires all strollers be fully folded and parked in the designated lobby stroller parking area, not in the pathway. No strollers are permitted in the elevator. Please plan accordingly. 14Y assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged strollers.

No exceptions will be made unless there is a medical reason, which must be submitted to the appropriate program director (Aquatics, Early Childhood, or Membership). If approved, you will receive a special stroller tag.
