Come join a fitness class at 14Y!

Our classes are open to people of all ages and fitness levels and are taught by certified group exercise instructors. Popular types of classes include Pilates, Strength and Conditioning, Yoga, and Zumba.

Group Fitness Class Levels

Ballet: Move across the floor in choreographed sequences. No experience necessary.

 

Juggling: Come ready to juggle for the first time or enhance your juggling skills.

 

Move & Groove: A gentle workout that builds strength and ends with a simple, joyful dance.

 

Pilates: Sculpt and tone your body with core and leg exercises.

 

Tai Chi: A workout that promotes balance, strength, and flexibility.

 

 

Barre: Tone your body with a workout that combines ballet, Pilates, yoga, and strength training.

 

Hatha Yoga: Strengthen your body through yoga postures and movement.

 

Kettlebell: Learn foundational kettlebell techniques and get a great full-body workout.

 

Punk Rope: A mash-up of jump rope, bodyweight training, and fitness games.

 

Strength Class: A full-body strength-based workout.

 

Stretch + Tone: Sculpt and strengthen your core, along with low impact exercises.

 

Stretch, Flow, & Restore Yoga: Stretch, flow, and restore with yoga poses.

 

Strong Nation by Zumba “Lunch Crunch”: Push yourself using only body weight and moves similar to a HIIT workout.

 

Vinyasa Yoga: Enjoy a workout that matches breathing with movement.

 

Zumba: Have fun, tone, and sculpt your body, while grooving to Latin rhythms.

 

 

Breathe Strong: Challenge yourself with a high-intensity fitness class that incorporates breathwork.

 

HIIT: A cardio-focused workout with periods of high intensity bursts of exercise.

The following classes are chair-based workouts designed for seniors: Get Fit, Aerobics with Strength Training, Sit ‘N Be Fit, Strong Foundations, Fitness Fridays, and Your Body, Take Charge.
