Siorovich Progam Information
All classes are accessible, free, and led by professional instructors and teaching artists. Each class offers a great opportunity to learn new skills or revisit old pastimes as well as engage with your community.

Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before your activities.
Meal Schedules
Breakfast
Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM | Dining Room
Tickets available for purchase from 8:45 AM – 9:55 AM. Dining room opens at 8:30 AM. Members have to exit the dining room at 10:30 AM.
Lunch
Monday – Friday | 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM | Dining Room
Sign in between 11:00 AM – 12:55 PM and ticket required. Dining room opens at 11:00 AM. Members have to exit the dining room at 1:30 PM.
Pantry Information
Sign up for our monthly pantry on the first Wednesday of each month. Appointments are required—please arrive within five minutes of your scheduled time. Items cannot be given out before your appointment. To sign up or learn more, call 646-395-4534, email sirovich@14streety.org, or visit the front desk.

LiveOnNY’s Annual Aging Advocacy Day Rally

Join us in advocating for increased funding for aging services, including nutrition, housing, and arts and educational programming for older New Yorkers. Transportation provided. Meet in the lobby @10:15 AM.

Beginner Ceramic Class with Deb
1:30 PM – 4:30 PM | Ceramics Studio
Discover the art of ceramics in this hands-on beginner class! Learn the fundamentals of working with clay, including hand-building techniques, basic wheel throwing, and glazing. Our expert instructor will guide you step by step as you create your own unique pottery pieces. This class serves as the first step toward our Intermediate Ceramic Courses, providing you with the foundational skills needed to advance your craft. Open Swim

Enjoy a free hour of open swim at the 14 Street Y pool. Please bring your Sirovich Membership Card to show to security at the front desk and sign in the guest book. Also bring a swimsuit, swim cap, lock for the locker room.
Jazz Line Dance with Bernard

Discover the joy of movement in our Jazz Line Dance class! This dynamic class blends the vibrant energy of jazz dance with the fun and social aspects of line dancing, creating an exhilarating experience for dancers of all levels.
Balance 101 with Demetra
3:15 PM – 4:00 PM | 1ST FL Auditorium
This chair class focuses on strengthening muscles and improving flexibility to allow for the joint stability and mobility we need for walking and completing everyday tasks around the home like carrying groceries and doing the laundry. People of all abilities, including anyone who uses an assistive walking device or wheelchair or is recovering from knee, foot, hip injuries, etc., can participate. You also have the option of completing standing work, with the chair in arms-reach. No registration is required.
Tapping Together with Demetra
4:00 – 5:00 PM | 1ST FL Auditorium
Join us for an exciting intergenerational tap dance class, offered in partnership with 14Y Afterschool students grades K – 2. Instruction is tailored for adults and children who have a passion for dance and rhythm or just want to have fun. No previous dance experience is necessary to participate.

The Sirovich Center holds a food pantry service on the first Wednesday of each calendar month.
