KOL Program for Children with Special Needs

While our in-person programs are on hold, the KOL Program staff is finding new ways to live our values of community, inclusion, and socialization.

During these uncertain times, it is important to pay attention to our mental health. We are offering KOL families mental health check-ins, where our on-staff child development experts will talk to you about managing stress and anxiety for you and your child.

It is also important to be kind to ourselves and have fun! That’s why we are scheduling one-on-one virtual playdates with staff and KOL participants.

Check-ins and playdates will be led by Inclusion Program Manager Antonio Rodriguez, LMSW and CAS (Certified Autism Specialist), and KOL Program Coordinator Roniece Crawford, who is currently pursuing her MSW. To set up a mental health check-in or virtual playdate, please email Antonio Rodriguez at ARodriguez@14streety.org.
