Antonio Rodriguez, LMSW
Inclusion Program Manager
Antonio Rodriguez is our friendly-neighborhood-superhero, as well as a licensed Social Worker and the Inclusion Program Manager at the 14th Street Y. He is a born and raised New Yorker, or Nuyorican as his family says, from the Lower East Side. The summer of 2019 will be his 8th summer at camp, as well as his first summer in his new role! Previously, Antonio was a Sports Counselor, Head Counselor, Assistant Division Head, and Support Supervisor at New Country Day Camp! Fun fact: Antonio started as a counselor alongside our favorite camp Director, Lili!
Antonio received his Bachelors in Human Services at St. John’s University, and continued his education to receive his Master’s in Social Work from Silberman School of School Work – Hunter College. Growing up, he was always helped his family whether it was babysitting his younger siblings or helping his great grandmother with chores around the house. Being in the helping profession, in a camp setting, feels like the perfect gig for him!
During his free time, Antonio enjoys relaxing with his cat or trying a new food somewhere in NYC. He is also a self-proclaimed Connect 4 and Uno master, so campers beware!
