ARDEN OF FAVERSHAM | $2
Lucille Lortel Theatre, 121 Christopher Street, New York, NY 10014
A true crime thriller! It’s Valentine’s Day and Alice Arden wants her husband dead. He’s come into money and all she can think about is her lover, Mosby. So, the pair enter into a pact to murder Arden and engage a cluster of killers to do the deed. If only they weren’t so spectacularly inept. Inspired by actual events, this sexy thriller of unknown authorship—some say, Shakespeare—is a bloody, darkly comic Elizabethan noir.

Grand Pistachio Presents Layer the Walls Part II | $2
14Y Theater, 344 E 14th Street, New York, NY 10003
While visiting Tenement Museum, forty layers of wallpaper were discovered on the walls of an old apartment. Each piece had been applied by a new immigrant family—Chinese, Jewish, and Puerto Rican migrants/immigrants living in New York City between 1930 and 1970—in an attempt to make the space their own. Every layer filled with hopes, dreams, and incredible stories of survival.
The LAYER THE WALLS series was created to honor these residents and showcase how they shaped New York City as we know it today. As layers of the set are peeled away, the characters’ stories of immigration are revealed; reminding us where our country has been, and more effectively examining where we are going. While this production is a Part II in a series, the stories stand on their own and previous viewing of Part I is not required.
The performance is 60 minutes in length, followed by a Q & A with the artists.
