Kiki Schaffer, Director
Kiki Schaffer, LCSW, has been at the Educational Alliance for 15 years, focusing on the emotional well being of families. Kiki also maintains a private psychotherapy practice.
Michiyo Kigawa, Director of the Japanese Parenting and Family Center

Michiyo Kigawa, is originally from Japan and was an elementary and junior high school teacher there. She has been working at the Y since 1995. She runs classes for children and their parents to maintain their Japanese language and heritage.
Jane Kornbluh, Associate Director

Jane Kornbluh, MFA, LCCE, CIMI, joined our team in 1998 as a mommy/baby exercise instructor and childbirth educator. In 2000 she began working full-time as director of the 2 x 2 program, later adding Baby Massage and Mother’s Knitting Circle to her roster of classes.
Dana Federbush, Associate Director 
Dana, LCSW, is the most recent addition to the Parenting Center team, joining in June. She holds a Masters in Social Work from New York University and comes to the Y from the JCC in Manhattan where she had served as Senior Director of Family and Children’s Programs since 2002.
Kristina Fiorillo, Assistant Director
Kristina runs Mini-Camp and On Our Way summer camps. During the academic year she works both in the classrooms and as registrar and bursar for Gani Preschool and the 2x2 program.
14th Street Y Preschool
Liz Hirsch
Liz Hirsch, MS in Educational Leadership from Bank Street College of Education and BS in Early Childhood, from Wheelock College joined the team a year ago. She brings a diverse array of experiences over the past 30 years from working with young children to college students. She recently returned from an international study trip to Reggio Emelia to learn more about that approach. She currently directs the Gani Preschool and New Town Day Camp.
