The 14th Street Y Preschool
Open to children 2.4 to 5 years of age, the 14th Street Y Preschool stimulates and supports children's natural curiosity about the world in which they live and play. Guided by the firm belief that "play is a child's work," we have filled our sunny, spacious classrooms with the rich and varied materials children need to do their daily jobs.
As part of the 14th Street Y, our preschool education offers a unique array of environments in which children can question, problem solve, create, and grow. Our students explore and experiment in the art, science, and dramatic play centers that comprise each classroom.
We are distinguished from other New York City preschools by providing continuity and depth of care from birth through early childhood within the 14th Street Y's Parenting, Family, and Early Childhood Center. Find out more about our community.
