Preschool Prep: 2 x 2 Programs

 2x2: Gradually Separating

Ages 21-36 Months (Grouped by Age)
Research shows that emotional security is the true foundation of learning.  This pre-nursery school program will stimulate your child’s social, physical and cognitive development while safeguarding that security and comfort throughout the separation process.  In the fall, adults provide a reassuring presence as your child engages in art, music, yoga, story time, cooking, creative movement, and imaginative play.  Later, adults will gradually start to separate, allowing children to fully focus on their daily activities, their budding friendships, and their newfound independence.

2x2: Non-Separating

Ages 21-36 Months
Your child is exploding with energy and an ever-growing curiosity about the world while you’re just trying to keep up with the dynamo!  This class will channel that energy and satisfy that unbounded curiosity through a lively mix of music, dance, gym, art and creative play activities.  Adults remain in the classroom for the full year.

Little Bookworms: Language Arts

Ages 22 - 34 months
This gradually separating class will encourage early literacy in fun and creative ways. Storytelling, puppetry and other forms of dramatization will deepen and extend children's investigation into the narratives they most love to hear. Drawing, painting and collage build prewriting skills; small group discussions support language development. For 2x2 and Gani-students only.
