New to online registration at the Y? Signing up for online registration is easy!

Just visit or call the Y front desk at  (212) 780-0800 and we'll set you up.  You can also send an email to info@14streety.org and provide us with the following information:

* First and last name
* Email Address
* Phone Number
* Street Address, City, State, Zip Code
* Birthday
* Name and Birthday of other people in household

Online Registration FAQs

1. Can I register if I am not a member of the Y?
You don't necessarily to have to be a member of the Y to register online. In order to register online, please contact us at 212-780-0800 or email us at info@14streety.org. If you don't reach us right away, someone will get back to you within 24 hours.

2. Will I be able to sign up for a membership online?
Membership can only be purchased at the 14th Street Y. However, in the future you will be able to make a payment online once your membership contract has been signed at the front desk.

3. How do I know that the site is safe?
Our site is administered by Spectrum Management and meets all compliance standards for safe online purchase.

4. Is there a fee for online registration?
No. Online registration is free.

5. How will I gain access into the building after I've signed up for a class online?
Prior to the first day of class, please stop by the front desk at the Y in order to sign your credit card receipt and pick up your class card.


6. I'm signing up my child for a child and parent class. Whose name do I put into the system?
When signing a child up for a class, always give the child's name in the 'person taking class' field, even when you are taking the class together.

7. Can I get discounts online?
In order to receive sibling and other discounts, you need to sign up for your class at the front desk. At this time there is no way to receive discounts online.

8. What if I have a question while registering online?
You may call our front desk at 212-780-0800 for help with online registration during business hours. If you have a question after business hours, please leave a message and someone will get back to you the next day.

9. What is "The Educational Alliance" and why is it listed on the website and on my billing statement?
The 14th StreetY is a program of The Educational Alliance, which was founded in 1889 as a settlement house. Today, it is a network of vibrant centers extending social support and opportunities for residents of downtown Manhattan. The Y is proud to be a part of the network of 80 programs in 32 sites provided by The Educational Alliance.
