Parenting, Family & Early Childhood Center

The Parenting, Family & Early Childhood Center [PFECC] offers expectant mothers, new moms, dads, second-time parents, and caregivers a variety of educational and nurturing programs and classes for families with young children in the downtown area.

Located in the heart of the East Village, on East 14^th Street, the staff at PFECC serves families from the Lower East Side, Stuyvesant Town, Greenwich Village, West Village, Murray Hill, Chelsea, as well as Irving Place and Gramercy, among other neighborhoods.

Learn some practical tips on how to get ready for your new baby with our expectant parent classes
Share the ups and downs of being a new mom or get back into shape with our new parent classes
Get out of the house, meet other parents and stimulate your little one with our diverse infant and toddler programs
Start early and enroll your child in the 14th Street Y's innovative pre-nursery called 2x2, a gradually separating program, or our vibrant preschool.
