Babysitting
Our babysitters read stories, provide fun toys, and even rock little ones to sleep while you work out. Services are available for children six months old to six years old. Babysitting service is available for children of adult members or family members. A 10-session babysitting pass may be purchased for $50.

Jenefer Clamor
We’re lucky to have Jenefer here at the Y. She’s been one of our trusted babysitters since the program began in 2005. Jenefer is from the Philippines, where she worked as a childcare provider while studying for her Degree in Computer Science from The University of Visayes. Jenefer also works as a childcare provider for many families in the New York area, and is a proud mother to her son, a 10 year old chess champion!
Cristina Tejeda
Cristina has been working in childcare for 13 years, including at the 14th Street Y as one of our babysitters. Cristina holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood from The Borough of Manhattan Community College, and is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree at Hunter College. Cristina has worked with many different families, including those with children who have special needs. Additionally, Cristina can be found working as a counselor in our Afterschool Program.
Vanessa Quiller
Vanessa comes to us after a career that includes tutoring, teaching in public schools, a career in the Food and Beverage industry, coursework in early education, and Summer Camps. Although her work and travels have allowed her experience many different paths, she is happy to be working with the children at the 14th Street Y. As she puts it, “ I love love, love working with children!” And we love having her at the Y!
Anthony Guglielmo
We were lucky to find that one of our most friendly and capable fitness monitors was also really great with kids! Anthony currently is pursuing his degree in Criminal Justice at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, hoping to eventually have a career in law or a related field. In addition to working with us as a babysitter and as a fitness monitor, Anthony also works as a babysitter for other families and has watched his own cousins for many years. Anthony loves working at the Y in all capacities and we’re happy to have him here.
