Blending the best of ballet technique, Pilates, and yoga, this Barre class is modified specifically for postnatal moms, targeting key areas for a highly efficient and effective workout.

Instructor Bio:

Julie is a certified viniyoga instructor and trained yoga therapist through the American Viniyoga Institute (500 + hours). Julie is a certified Thai Yoga Therapist with the Lotus Palm School, a Reiki master, and a certified Aqua Aerobics Instructor with the Aquatic Exercise Association. A dancer and choreographer, Julie directs Avodah Dance, a non-profit modern dance company known for its roots in Jewish values and outreach in community centers, synagogues and women’s prisons. Julie teaches with enthusiasm that brings joy, lightness, and fun to all of her classes. She is also the Director of Member Engagement at the 14th Street Y.
